We are so thankful that our family is finally feeling better and we were able to enjoy our Memorial Day. My sister, Jan, and her boys came into town. We had lots of fun swimming, playing, and enjoying being with them. Caleb is in heaven playing with all of his cousins and Elisabeth loves being the princess of the group!

What a Week!

IMG_8110

We have had quite a week at our house. The kids and I have all been sick. Somehow, Todd managed to stay healthy. We have made five trips to the doctor, one trip to the children's hospital, and taken three rounds of antibiotics. We have all had a virus. Caleb also has an ear infection and Elisabeth has walking pneumonia. Thankfully, we are all getting better and we are looking forward to a wonderful holiday tomorrow!

Our New Yard

When we moved into our house, the yard was in complete shambles. This week we sodded about half the yard. I'm not sure who is more excited, us or the neighbors! Three days and 16 pallets later the sod is finally in place. Now were watering twice a day and crossing our fingers that it will all root.

Happy Mother's Day

Caleb and Elisabeth are the luckiest kids in the world. They have a wonderful mama who loves them and pours all of herself into them. We were making cards for Tiffany the other night and I asked them, "Why do you love Mama?" Here is what they said.

Caleb:
"She's the best!"
"She's sweet to me."
"She's my Mama!"

Elisabeth:
"She goes to church!"
"She gives me hugs!"
"She gives me kisses!"
"She writes my name!"
"She teaches me homeschool!"
