Happy Birthday Marolyn!
It is my sister-in-law's birthday today. As a present for her, we took some pictures of her kids the other day. Here are a few of our favorites.

She's so me... She's sooo not me!
Elisabeth is so much like me in some ways and so unlike me in others.
So NOT Me...
This morning, we were having "science" homeschool when Todd caught a lizard for Caleb and a "baby frog" for Elisabeth. I'm sitting on the porch when Elisabeth walks over to me, says "baby frog" and lets the frog jump out of her hand onto my shirt. I scream "Get it off me! Get it off me!" so loud I'm pretty sure Caleb wet his pants from fear, then laughter. How sad is that! I have to beg my two year old daughter to rescue me from the attack of a vicious frog!
So Me...
On the way home from dinner tonight, Caleb is holding one of Elisabeth's toys. When I hear Elisabeth say, "1,2,3,4,5,6,8,10... Gorgeous turn! Bubba, Gorgeous turn!!!"

Doubles

Who knows? They could be the 2025 Wimbledon Mixed Doubles Champions.
Now if I could only train them to put the balls back into the bag
as enthusiastically as they take them out!

4th of July
We had such a great 4th of July! We started out the day "cooking" homemade ice cream. The kids got so excited about making our own ice cream that they simply could not wait.
Caleb had his own special ingredients for the ice cream. Fortunately, we were able to convince him to stick with vanilla and chocolate syrup.
Little Bit couldn't wait to get her hands on the sprinkles....
... and was more than willing to help daddy out with the rock salt!
Caleb got his hand stuck in the ice cream churn.
We told him not to put it in there, but he just wouldn't listen!
As you can tell, everyone was delighted!
Finally, we ended the day with a bang at Grandma Rhonda and Pops' house.
