Christmas Day

We had a fun first Christmas with Caleb and Elisabeth. It seemed as though they knew that it was Christmas because they woke up at 5:00 in the morning. We opened presents at home and then we went over to my parents to open more presents and have Christmas dinner.

The Eve of Christmas Eve

We have a family tradition of spending Christmas Eve at the Floyd's house. This year Todd's mom had to work so we celebrated a day early. Caleb and Elisabeth had a great time. They got a bunch of presents and they loved playing with all of the wrapping paper and bows.

Christmas With The Cousins

We had such a fun weekend. My sister, Jan, and her family were in town to celebrate an early Christmas with us. It was such a blessing to have my whole family together. It is so special for Caleb and Elisabeth to have nine cousins that love them so much.

Our nephew Jacob turned twelve yesterday. Happy Birthday Jacob!

Christmas at Laura's

We went over to Aunt Laura's last night. During the night, she got out her guitar to sing to the kids. Caleb and Elisabeth had a great time singing and dancing with her.

Caleb and Elisabeth's great aunts, Janis and "Sister", came for a visit yesterday. We all got together at my mom's house for lunch. Caleb and Elisabeth had a wonderful time playing with their aunts and cousins. Thank you Janis and "Sister" for the Christmas presents. The babies love them.

9 Months Old!

Caleb and Elisabeth are nine months old today. I am reminded of a conversations that I had with my sister, Jan, when I was pregnant. I had a very hard pregnancy. I had two hospital stays, contractions every few minutes, and twelve weeks of bed rest. I felt as though I would be pregnant forever and that my precious Caleb and Elisabeth would never be here. Jan told me that the nine months you are pregnant seem like an eternity and then you blink your eyes and your babies will be nine months old. She was right. I can't believe how fast time flies.


Caleb is our happy boy. He is always smiling and he thinks everythings is funny. His favorite game is peek-a-boo. When he wakes up in the morning he pulls the bumper pad on his bed down and watches for us to come for him. I love coming into his room and seeing his sweet face peeking through.


Elisabeth is our sweet girl. She is crawling everywhere. I put her down and in a matter of seconds she is across the room. Her favorite game is keep-a-way. About two weeks ago she cut her first tooth. She is very smiley, but only to people that she knows well. If she does not know someone she just stares them down.


Todd and I are having the time of our lives with Caleb and Elisabeth. Every month we say this is the best age and every month it gets better and better. We are looking forward to celebrating our first Christmas as a family of four.

We took a picnic to the park tonight to celebrate. These are a few pictures we took.

Happy Birthday Grandma Rhonda

Today is Grandma Rhonda's birthday. My mom invited all of us over for lunch to celebrate her birthday. Caleb and Elisabeth had so much fun. They were extra spoiled having both of their Grandmas in one place.
